The intense side to Val Thorens
Renowned for the quality of its snow and its outstanding lifts, Val Thorens is a winter sports paradise. Located the heart of a large cirque dominated by six glaciers, the ski resort of Val Thorens offers a multitude of possible sunny ski routes that you can enjoy all day long. All in all, you can look forward to 150 km of pistes (11 greens, 34 blues, 29 reds, 9 blacks) and 31 lifts, as well as a link to the 3 Vallées area for a total of more than 600 km pistes suitable for both beginners and more advanced skiers alike.
There are plenty of fun activities to enjoy in Val Thorens – Alpine skiing; cross-country skiing; carving; border cross; snow park skiing; off-piste skiing; telemark skiing; the VT Fun Ride snow park; the VT Family Park for discovering the joys of winter sports in comfort; the Cosmojet toboggan run (the longest toboggan run in France); the La Bee double zip wire to fly over the pistes 65 m off the ground; snow-shoeing; ice driving; mountain biking on snow; dog sledding; ice diving; paragliding; and a sports centre complete with swimming pool.
